Cardio is cardiovascular excercise for example, running. Cardiovascular health
relates to the health of the heart. When working out, you should do it for about 45 minutes
and 3-5 times a week. Doing cardio is important because it strengthens your heart and builds
muscle. It increases the capacity and efficiency of your heart and lungs. It helps you breathe
deeper and faster which will increase your heart rate. Your lungs will take in more oxygen and
will grow to hold more air. Cardio makes your heart strong so when it pumps blood, it won't
have to work harder. Getting heart attacks, diabetes, or high blood pressure are sometimes
the result of eating too much junk food or not doing exercises and cardio reduces the chance
of getting either one.
There are many cardiovascular exercises/activities that you can do for example,
running, swimming, and jogging. Running allows someone to move faster on foot. Running
for 15-20 minutes for everyday is a good workout because it basically works very part of your
body, strengthens your heart, and increases your lung capacity. When you are running, your
heart beats faster because your muscles need more oxygen so it pumps blood back to the
heart.
Swimming is a water sports where someone moves them self in water. For a good
workout, you should swim for about 30 minutes or more. The reason why swimming is good
for you is because when you swim, you are using all of your muscles. Because you don't
weigh much when you're in water, it will be easier for a better workout. Since it works the
heart and lungs, the body starts to get trained to use more oxygen. When it uses all of your
muscles, it improves muscle strength and flexibility.
Jogging is to run at a steady pace. Jogging is good for your health and endurance.
When you start to jog, you should do it for about 10-20 minutes. But actually, the benefits of
jogging don't include the heart and lungs even though it's a cardio workout. It just
increases the density of your bones and makes your muscles more stronger and toned.
Although its benefits dont really Include hearts and lungs, you should still try jogging.
There are so many things you can do to live a healthier lifestyle. First, you should
make sure that you are drinking a lot of water. 8 glasses of water or more should be enough.
It will clean your body from the inside and out. Excercise is a must because your body will
get into shape and will reduce your risks for some diseases. It can prevent your from getting
a heart attack or diabetes. Third, eat a lot of fruits and vegetables. Eating a lot of junk food
won't do good to your body and you'll gain weight. An excercise that works out our heart in
physical education is running. It's one of the best cardios because it works out all of the
muscles and strengthens your heart. During the summer, I'll definitely go to the gym because
I have to loos weight and start making healthier decisions. But I also have to heat health too.
I need to eat a lot more fruits and vegetables.
